Media company CBS Corp's board is in settlement talks with Chief Executive Officer Les Moonves to negotiate his exit, a source familiar with the matter said on Thursday.

Moonves has been accused of harassed or assaulting six women between the 1980s and early 2000s.

CBS Corp. has hired two law firms to conduct an independent investigation of board chairman and CEO Leslie Moonves over allegations of sexual harassment.

Six women accuse the C.E.O. of harassment and intimidation, and dozens more describe abuse at his company.

Says Moonves, "I'm a sports fan, but when I turn on ESPN, I see people yelling at each other."

The CBS Corp. chairman and CEO also said that while his company isn’t in the market for any deals at the moment, CNN intrigues him, and that he would take a long, hard look at the cable newser if it were to come up for sale.
