Team India makes a bizarre request ahead of World Cup...
Ahead of the World Cup, the Indian cricket team has sent BCCI a list of their requests while on tour. Earlier, the CoA had granted the wives and girlfriends of players to join them on tour after a period of 10 days. Now, the team has some more requests, and one of them is quite bizarre.

MSK Prasad on Dhoni being excluded from T20I side...
BCCI has announced the Indian squad for the T20I series against West Indies and later against Australia in November, and surprisingly Dhoni's name is missing from the list. It might have seemed that the board is slowly trying to phase out the veteran, but MSK Prasad has revealed the real reason.

As the BCCI declared India's 15-man squad for the rest of the 3 ODIs against West Indies, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah returned subsequent to being refreshed for the initial 2 coordinates however there was no notice of Kedar Jadhav, the man who is broadly perceived as one of the key players

BCCI allows wives and girlfriends on tour after first 10-days...
Kohli asked the BCCI to allow the wives and girlfriends of members of the Indian cricket team on tours, the BCCI has agreed to his request. However, the restriction is that the family members can join the cricketers only after 10 days into the tournament, but can stay for the remainder of the tour.

Asia Cup: Why is Star India unhappy with the BCCI?...
Star India wrote to the ACC saying Kohli's absence from the tournament will affect viewership to a large extent. Star have also mentioned that the Media Rights Agreement has not been honored since the terms state that the best team has to be selected for a tournament. Further details follow.
