A bench of Justices Ranjan Gogoi, Navin Sinha, and KM Joseph adjourned the matter till Oct-10 after petitioner M L Sharma said that he wanted to file some additional documents in the case.

The constitution bench was headed by Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra, whose tenure ends soon. The arguments were heard for four days in July and had reserved the judgement.
