The deed is done. The switch has been flicked off. The plug has been pulled. Radio Australia ended its shortwave broadcasts at 0100 UTC on January 31, 2107. After many decades of service, it ended very little fanfare.....just the "Waltzing Matilda" interval signal for one last time.
